Anything else?
My father was admitted to A&E with breathing difficulties and was seen immediately, the staff were responsive and caring and sympathetic to his age and the difficulties he was experiencing. once he was made comfortable he was transferred to Ward 1 where he was treated further also with the same care. after a few days he was taken to the Critical Care Unit. I cannot express my appreciation of the staff in CCU ward 12 and Area A. At all times we were kept informed of my Fathers progress and we were encouraged to call at any time to see how he was. I don;t understand some of the negative comments on here, it's as if we're talking about different hospitals. If I am ever in need of hospital care then Queen Elizabeth Woolwich would be my first choice. Please pass on my thanks to all of the team at QE
