I had an accident at work in late May and was admitted to hospital towards the end of June having passed out at home in my kitchen.
Upon investigation it turned out I had a DVT leading to Pulmonary Embolisims and I spent the following 12 days in hospital, the majoity of it in Ward 8.
Having initially thought I might die I was nursed back to health by some of the most amazing indviduals I have ever met; I only wish I had met them under different circumstances. If my care was any sort of indication as to what the care in the rest of the hospital was like I do not understand how anybody could complain.
Having seen other comments on this website it seems some people have complained about everything possible. All I can say is if you have managed to complain you are still alive so it cannot have been that bad. Having said that the food could have been better, but even then a decent, sizeable meal is something I can give up for 12 days if it is substituted with care and attention that means I am still breathing at the end of it.
