"Ride-on Lawn Tractor Accident "

About: Derriford Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as the patient),

Following an accident where I fell 12 feet onto a concrete driveway on my ride-on lawn mower, I received care and reassurance from the first responder based in Modbury (sorry, I can't remember his name) whilst waiting for an ambulance from Kinsgbridge (David Sutton - Paramedic).

David and colleague put me on a spine-board, braced my neck and then took me into Derriford Hospital Emergency Department for further assessment.

It is always really great to hear that our staff are continuing to provide excellent care to patients when they need it most. I will ensure that your comments are shared with David and his collegues.

Thank you, again, for taking the time to provide feedback.
