I first saw my doctor (Dr Parrish) about my hand. He referred me to the Princess Royal Hospital. It was not long before a letter arrived to say I had an appointment in early July.
I went to PRH with my husband. We found somewhere to park, it was very busy. I made my way to the fracture and orthopeadic clinic. I waited to see a receptionist to say I had arrived and showed her the letter. She was very nice to me.
The seating area was full but we managed to get a seat. A few people we were sitting by said they had been waiting a long time to be seen. I thought we were in for a long wait.
Within five minutes my name was called, I was surprised. The nurse showed me in to the cubicle. The registrar came to see me and asked if I needed to see Mr Moreau as I had seen him in the past.
I did not wait long to see Mr Moreau. He asked me how I was. Looked at my hand and it was decided that I would have another injection in my arm.
Pleased with the service I received.
