"No one available to answer my call"

About: Dewsbury Health Centre / Podiatry

(as the patient),

I have been referred for a podiatry appointment, and today tried calling Dewsbury podiatry.

No one was available to answer my call. There was an answer machine message which said that they would be available between 9am and 3pm; however I was calling within these times so someone should have been around to answer my call.

I feel that if they tell people to call back at a certain time, they should be available. I am concerned that if it takes me too long to get through, I may have to go back to my GP to get another referral.

We are sorry if you have been unable to speak to someone regarding making an appointment for Podiatry. Please leave your name & telephone number then our administrative staff will contact you about making an appointment as we do not want to cause you the inconvenience of having to go back to your GP for another referral.

If you telephoned during the hours of 9am – 3pm and the answerphone was activated then it is likely that our staff were dealing with another patient. Thank you for leaving your feedback.
