"Lovely staff but appalling administration"

I cannot fault the staff or treatment at this hospital. It has always been first class, however we are still waiting for a report from the hospital 5 weeks after our last appointment. We were told there was a 3 week backlog with the typing. In actual fact it took from 6th June to 10th July to get the report typed and then it still needs to go back for a signature prior to despatch.

Anna Winyard, Business Manager for the community hospitals, said: "We would like to sincerely apologise to you for the unacceptable delay in producing the report. This is an issue we have been aware of and an action plan is in force to overcome the problems. This includes having more staff available to help deal with the back-log of reports which we hope to have cleared by early September."
