"only in your worst nightmare"

About: The Royal London Hospital

Anything else?

My friend was taken to whitechapel by air ambulance in critical state after car accident. Cannot fault them or a&e. However she was then admitted to ward 12c and then pushed to 5. She has been in there for two weeks had one operation after it was cancelled for two days, and awaiting another again cancelled twice so far. Her dressing aint been changed on her wounds and now suffering from huge infections (which nobody has noticed for days)which will have a massive impact on her injusries and recovery, and without giving to personal details we are not talking silly injuriies. They staff are rude, no regular obervations, no washing or changing off any bandages etc. Beds never changed,, no communications from doc and the nurses don't have a clue or are too busy sitting at there desk doing nothing but chat about the weekend. Notes left on a hand rail outside the room. Took them a week to realise she hadn't been to the toilet (not anything important like) The whole experience is unprofessionaly. We really expected more. We are going to make formal complaints as there neglect will cost her in a big way and is totaly unexceptable.
