What I liked

I had to take my daughter to A&E at Sandwell after she fell while climbing and hit her head on the patio in the garden. She wasn't at all herself and the doctors and nurses were wonderfully reassuring. They gave her an x-ray to be on the safe side. They were really good on the ward too and made us feel really welcome. After a few hours she was back to her normal self and was clambering all over the play room (she's quite the tom-boy) and they quickly decided she didn't need to stay in overnight. The childrens facilities in A&E and on the ward are great too and A&E in particular was very clean.

What could be improved

There wasn't very much I could get her to try to eat while in A&E apart from some crisps or chocolate in a vending machine. A little cafe or some healthy options in the vending machines would be good.
