"Wonderful staff and facilities at Darenth Valley..."

I had hospital admission to Darenth Valley Hospital on 26th June. I was treated the moment I arrived in the ambulance. The staff nurses introduced themselves to me and let me know what was going on, I was transferred to a cubicle straight away and had a very comfortable 6 hour stay in A&E. It was clean, the facilities were new and clean, it was quiet!, I had a comfortable bed, blankets and pillow. Doesn't sound like much but for someone feeling so ill it made me feel far more comfortable. I got attention straight away and always had staff coming to me to check everything was OK. I had a doctor that seemed to be assigned to me. He came over to me and my family several times and chatted and actually diagnosed me. My staff nurses were so lovely. So I wanted to tell you what lovely staff and facilities DV have and how they made my stay a very comfortable one.
