"Delayed results for an urgent chest x-ray"

(as the patient),

After having a cough for a couple of months my doctor decided to send me to the QEQM for an URGENT chest x-ray. Unfortunately it is almost two weeks later and my GP still hasn't received the results as there is a backlog with the results from the radiology department due to a new system that has recently been introduced.

When ringing the Patient Experience Team for some support or help all I could get was the answering machine although I phoned during their "open/office hours". I am feeling absolutely distressed and worried and this gets worse by the day.

God forbid something will be wrong this delay is certainly not going to be helpful in any shape or form.
