Anything else?
My father 84 yrs old) was in hosp for 6 weeks April/May this year with Mysentia Gravis. I cannot remember the name of the ward he was on ( I went there every day but after a while you go there on auto-pilot) but I must say the nursing he received was out of this world! Nothing was too much for the nurses/doctors, always treating him & us, his family, with utmost dignity & respect. When I was there one night, one young man was hitting one of the staff on the head, his mother was really distressed at this kept telling him to stop but the nurse just ignored it saying 'its not him that hitting me its his condition' and did not stop what they were doing, how I wish I had his patience! This was the second time he had been in this hosp and both times we were treated with dignity & respect. I would always recommend this hospital to anyone. This hospital should show the rest of the NHS how to treat their patients & famillys. I have visited friends in other hospitals where they are not treated as well.
