I just want to write to express my thanks and gratitude for the fantastic care my Mother received recently on the Midgeley Ward. From nurses to Doctors to Care Workers and Cleaning staff, all were fantastic. My Mother, had not wanted to come into hospital but when I noticed that she 'just wasn't right' we called out the paramedics who admitted her to Torbay. It is always a worrying time for family and carers and it is sometimes difficult to find out what is going on, what tests have been done etc., but all my queries were answered with politeness and sincerity and fears allayed. She came out of the Midgeley Ward and returned home so much better than when she was admitted and agreed that it had been the best course of action for her to go into hospital as 'she had been sorted out'. Thank you again for your kindness and for looking after my Mother, whom to me and my family is a 'very special person'. p.s. I am also writing a letter t o Midgeley Ward.
