Thank you for all the team working extremely hard to treat mum. Especially the Haematolology registrar who I know worked very hard for mum and came and talked with me at length to let me know what was being done, tests that they were going to do and results from tests that they had done. They were extremely empathetic; a lovely person. The person who introduced themselves as consultant for HMU ward however was the most arrogant individual I have had the misfortune to meet. They said, with arms folded, shrugging shoulders and pulling a face the expression of which I really don't care' look 'Well when you're over 70 what do you expect' they then said with the uncaring posture and a shrug of the shoulders 'She is between a rock and a hard place' The insensitivity was overwhelming. They also said 'I have had a quick flick of the notes', said her wrong age. They obviously didn't give a damn about my mum. Extremely poor care from them, well no care.
