What I liked
my father in law was admitted after having a fit. The A&E assessment was excellent & rapid,he was then admitted for investigation & treatment. Although he was very old (93) he was treated with considerable respect, and the difficult business of arranging long term care, as he was unable to return to his previous independent state , was carried out with great sensitivity.
What could be improved
wards with elderly people do sometimes contain patients who can be noisy and disturb others- ie a quieter environment would be preferred, if posible
