What I liked

I gave birth for the first time in Sept 2006 and the maternity staff were fantastic. I had some minor prolems and they monitored me constantly and reassured me throughout. The ward was clean, the staff were friendly and my healthy daughter was delivered without any problems. Thank you all of you especially the midwife!

What could be improved

Aside from the maternity ward, the chairs in the A&E are horrendously uncomfortable. I'm sure it's a test of how bad you are - if you're willing to sit for 5hrs in those chairs then you must be ill! It's not great for friends and family so it would be fab if they could be more comfortable!
