The prospect of spending time in hospital is never something that you would look forward to ,so there fore the job of hospital staff is and must be a constant challenge,trying to keep people happy and comfortable in an environment that they wish they were not in,difficult ? In my experience I have to say the job done by staff at both darenth valley hospital and Medway maritime hospital in the joint care and treatment of me for my diagnosed prostate cancer and the subsequent prostectomy I underwent was second to none ,I cannot praise the treatment I received enough ,they all treated me like an individual and not as I imagined it would be like ,just another number ! It felt to me like their main aim was my care and well being ,I understand that this is obviously not everybody's experience of hospital time but it is mine and I very much appreciate the opportunity to voice my opinion .i am feeling very positive for the future although my results will not be concluded until the end of July 2013,I have been very happy with my treatment and of course I would like to thank everyone involved in my recent journey ,good health is not everything but without it everything counts for nothing ,I would not hesitate to recommend both hospitals to anyone .thankyou ,Nick Tolhurst
