"Spinal Surgery: Wonderful team of people"

I would like to thank the fantastic surgery and care I have received from Musgrove Park hospital Spinal surgery team, and in particularly Mr Paul Thorpe who operated on me.

During all out patient appointments staff listened to me and were very informative about my condition and how it affects me,  I feel confident I was given all the options available and ended up with the best outcome for me.

I feel honoured and incredibly thankful for having Mr Thorpe as my consultant.

The surgery team and the Anaesthetist were brilliant and made me feel an individual person.

All on Shepherd Ward were fantastic. The nurses, who were understaffed and overworked  (there was no ward assistant some days so they were feeding and getting drinks too! )

Despite all this they treated me as an individual person, nothing was too much trouble and most of all they made me laugh.. I thank them so much for that, I wish I could remember your names to thank you personally, you make a huge difference to recovery.

The porters who wheeled me to x-ray were lovely too.
