"Breast screening: The staff are amazing people"

(as the patient),

I went to Chorley mobile screening unit for my first mammogram. I was very nervous before I went in. But the receptionist made me feel very relaxed.

Then I went in the room, the ladies that did the x rays where very supportive and explained everything to me and took all my fears away. I was so relaxed with two lovely ladies.

It did not hurt at all, it was just a pressure feeling that lasted only seconds. So I would advice all ladies of my age to go and have this done. There is no need to worry about going.

The staff are amazing people.
