"Sent home alone"

Anything else?

My uncle, 79 with vascular dementia, was discharged at 8.30pm, after only being in A&E for a few hours, nobody rang me to say he was going home, the drivers just left him in his flat. He was to confused to let me know, the first I knew was when I called in the morning to find out what ward he was on! He was readmitted 48 hours later with low blood pressure, pneumonia, and arterial fibrillation. Come on PRU, why did the doctor and ward staff just send him home? On Med 2 now, and the girls are great.
