"The attitude of the nurse was very unhelpful"

About: Ballenden House

(as the patient),

Having been referred to the South East Edinburgh Primary Care Mental Health Team, at Ballenden House, by my GP, I was given a warm welcome by the receptionist and waited for my appointment.

Unfortunately my consultation was not at all what I envisaged. It turned out to be a very basic and somewhat inappropriate range of questions and answers. I found the attitude of the nurse to be very unhelpful, asking a range of somewhat cliched and in my opinion ill-informed questions. I also found them to be fairly argumentative at times.

I'm afraid that although I have been struggling to cope with a whole series of traumas and life events, I will be looking for help elsewhere.
