Woke up early morning with a very erratic heartbeat. I used my wife’s monitor to check my blood pressure and pulse – both were erratic. I phoned the 111 service who were very helpful. After taking my details and asking me questions about how I was feeling and what was happening they advised me to go to the Hillingdon Hospital A&E.

When we arrived at the hospital, the 111 people had already contacted them, all my papers were there and I was seen quite quickly. They took an ECG – this was fine. The erratic heartbeat was normal again, the hospital thought it may have been a blip.

I’m having a heart monitor for a week to see if it happens again. The follow up is very good.

I have no complaints at all.
