After having a fall on 29th June 2013, I knew I had hurt my shoulder, I arrived at the Royal and the care and service I received was exceptional. On a Saturday afternoon I had seen the triage nurse, been x-rayed and seen the doctor all within an hour and a half, I had broken my shoulder in 3 places, I was given a sling, pain killers and discharged with an appointment to attend fracture clinic on Tuesday. The department was busy, there was a police presence due to an incident, the attention and care I received was amazing. I would personally like to thank the sister, the doctor and all the staff that cared for me. The Royal A and E offer a service to be proud off. Thank you again.
