Anything else?
I took my wife to Emergency because she had severe itching for many weeks and nothing was working. She is pregnant and itching was unbearable. We tried but couldn't get GP appointment early so had to go to Emergency. We went on 28th Jun, 2013 at 8:00 AM and waited to be seen for more than half an hour although there weren't many patients there. One doctor calling himself a GP didn't even listen about the problem carefully and within a minute just said that it's not emergency case so he couldn't do anything. I tried to mention the pain that she has had for many weeks so there was no choice but to come to emergency so that dermatelogist could see her but he miserably and disgracefully replied in very rude manner. I couldn't even think of this attitude that I experienced. Even the NHS website says that if you've got severe itching then you should go to emergency to get it diagonsed because it might be due to some liver problem. I hope somebody will do something abt this attitude of the doctors in general and that doctor in particular if NHS cares about the people. Otherwise I would have to say that this doctor's response was a similar response that one could get in public hospitals in third world countries.
"Disgraceful attitude"
