Last year we were in London for the rugby at Wembley, when my husband got taken ill with a stroke. He was rushed to Northwick Park Hospital where he received fantastic medical treatment and first class physio to follow. I was amazed at his treatment and didn't want to get him transferred to Hull Royal (as we come from the North). If it wasn't for me having to travel so far, I would have kept him there until his recovery.
Thank you to the doctors, ward clerk Pat who was brilliant and not forgetting Liam and his physio team.
