I was nervous about this operation but from the moment I was signed in my worries began to ease. I had a spinal block with sedation and would advise anyone to take this route my recovery after the operation was rapid I was home in three days. The staff from the doctor and the aneathetist were supberb everything was explained to me and I was continually asked if I was ok. I was soon up on ward 9 where all the staff were marvellous it was like being in a private hospital (which I have experienced). The ward and its facilities were spotless. Physiotherapists were great and had me moving on day two and on day three I was using the stairs by supper time on day three I was on my way home. I followed the advise about drinking clear apple juice just befor the fast time and have to say had no sickness. Would not hesitate to return if my other knee needs doing. A big thank you to everyone who took care of me.
