I was admitted into the day care unit on 28/6/13 under the care of a consultant who specialises in Gynecology, she put me at ease immediately by discussing my surgery and all possible outcomes, and she also visited me after to discuss how it had gone and aftercare. Everyone working on the unit from the lady on reception, to the nurses, the anaesthesiologist and his team were all faultless and I cannot thank them enough for the level of care and support that I received. Each party took the time to speak to me after surgery to ask how I was feeling. The Junior Sister was always on hand and available to answer any questions that I had, and the lady from reception even came to check on me and recommended books for me to read in the future. Having had surgery privately on previous occasions I can honestly say that if I had gone private again I could not have received a more comprehensive or higher level of care. Thank you
