I was very scared but the staff were wonderful. The waiting around wasn't brilliant but once it was 'my turn' to go to theatre I was treated with the utmost respect and felt that my wishes were really taken into consideration. I woke up to no pain and stayed in the ward for just 2 nights. I cannot speak highly enough of the nursing staff, surgeon, theatre staff and anaesthetist. The after care was good too - I saw the physiotherapist twice and had a 6 week check at Pinderfields, which was a bit of a track but all in all, spot on. Thank you.
