I was left sat there for hours....In the end I got up and walked out! Bloody joke if you ask me! Why give a patient an appointment but then dont see them for 3 hours later?

Thank you for your comment about waiting times to see the Consultant in Outpatients and we apologise for the delay in your appointment. We endeavour to keep all wait times to a minimum however; at times circumstances beyond our control can cause delays. Since receiving this comment we have reviewed our processes and in order to keep all inform of how long they will need to wait for their appointment we have implemented a communication board into our Reception area. This is updated at regular intervals during the clinic to give an indication of how long the delay is likely to be. In addition to this we have asked our reception team to inform patient as they arrive of any delays
