I had a colon bypass. After the operation I had daily visits from the surgeon and very attentive care from all the hospital staff. The nurses without exception were kind and knowledgeable and were extremely prompt in responding to calls. Sadly I was unable to eat the food until the last few days as I was first on nil by mouth and then water only but my wife was able to stay with me and eat in my room and she found the food excellent.
