I was admitted to the county for ankle fusion surgery on 17th June 2013 I cannot give any higher levels of appreciation to the Consultant and his team. (Including his secretary) From the time I went into hospital I was treated with such dignity and supported by reassurance of exactly what the procedure of surgery would be. The staff on Teme wards were simply brilliant. The entire staff which includes clinical, domestic, physio, OT & porters were all fantastic. I cannot find fault in the level of high care which I received whilst I was on the ward. I would be very grateful if you would post this letter of appreciation on in order that the entire team note the appreciation that they rightly deserve. A particular quality that the staff have is that the interact with all patients which really takes the edge off being in hospital all week. They were all simply fantastic and all have a fantastic seance of humour which makes one's stay so much more comfortable. Literally nothing was a problem, 24hrs a day The only downside to the entire package was the standard of food. Looking at the menu it appeared to have hit on all the dietary requirements, but what ended up on the plate was less that appealing. Never the less. I would still say that it was like convalescing in a 5 star hotel. Thank you all at Teme ward, theatre, plaster room etc etc. This should be made available to all concerned and i can only close by saying I would assure anyone that if they received the care that I experienced (& the other 4 patients on the ward) that they will get the highest level of professional care they could ever need. Thank you to everyone concerned Teme Ward - especially one member of staff in particular- you should be so proud of your team. Kind regards Mr Graham Roberts
