"My stay in the cardiac ward for a Stent to be..."

About: Basildon University Hospital

Anything else?

I was in Basildon hospital in ward " Roding" the cardiac section and I was treated what can only be discribed as like Royalty, the nursing staff and doctors etc were nothing short of wonderful, I went in to have a Stent put in and I finished up with 3 Stents I am 76 years old and after 30 years of having to be careful what I did in life like climbing stairs cycling walking etc, I am now pain free and as fit and healthy as I was before I had Angina I am now cycling 30 miles a day I can walk for miles and even jog, the doctors and nursing staff at Roding ward have given me a new lease of life I feel more like 36 that 76 years old, I just cannot find words of thanks for the treatment and care and consideration I got from all the staff in ward Roding. It is just so unbelieveable to me to now to be pain free with no chest aches and no shortage of breath and no having to sit down and rest when I tried to do anything that most normal people can do with ease, I can only say a huge thank you to everyone in Roding ward for your help and kindness and for making me stay in Roding so enjoyable and for giving me a new lease of pain free life which I now have.. My sincere thanks for the doctor who did my Stent. Please sir, know that you have changed my life for now a pain free one that I am able to do what I could not do before the op, also we mentioned golf well now I can do an 18 hole game with no breathing problems or pains I can never thank you enough. (Please note not sure what month that I was in the hospital) Many thanks. Peter D Hall
