On a minor surgery visit to the eye dept I was greeted by a very nice member of staff and asked to wait in the very clean and calming waiting room.On only a 15 minuete wait i was called into the treatment room by the lovely Nurse and then the doctor introduced himself and the nurse.My treatment was then explained and began.Feeling nervouse about the injection of local anethetic that was to be given into my eye lid I suddenly felt a very soothing hand placed onto my own hand and the Nurse gently stoked my hand taking away any dread i was feeling.The doctor then carried out the proceedureand explained after care to me. This was my first visit to Ashford Hospital and a very quick and proffesional service was given .Thankyou.
