"My stay in the Woodthorpe Hospital"

About: Nottingham Woodthorpe Hospital

Anything else?

I have been in the Woodthorpe on 2 occasions, once in February 2011 and recently in June 2013. Both times I have been an NHS patient but the care I received could not have been better even if I was a private patient. I had my own room with tv phone and shower room, the staff were all exceptionally kind and caring including domestic staff who always had a ready smile and a cheery word. Even though the menus were a little repetitive the meals were very good ,well presented and very large portions. I requested to return to the Woodthorpe under the same consultant for my 2nd hip replacement because of the good experience 2 years previously in 2011 and if anything this time it was even better and I would recommend anyone who can have the opportunity to attend this hospital to do so.
