About: Good Hope Hospital

Anything else?

Very efficient service, from initial check in to discharge. This is obviously an 'invasive' procedure but all staff treat you with dignity and respect. Pain control and patient comfort are top priorities. I opted for enterox as opposed to 'sedation' and would do the same next time. To be fair, getting the moviprep sachets down are worse than the camera. You can watch proceedings on screen. I was impressed by the level of information provided to me throughout and that I was able to take away a paper version of this, although this would understandably vary according to what you have done and what they find. There is absolutely no chance of them mistaking you for another patient as every staff member goes through your details before talking to you/undertaking procedures - so don't misinterpret that as them not checking your records!!
