"Amazing nurses, appalling doctors"

A&E visit followed up by 26 hours in EAU. Nurses were superb but actions of admin and doctors seemed to make their lives a lot harder.

I was seen by junior doctor at 7pm, told me consultant would see me asap. By 12:30am still no sign of either doctor, embarrassed nurse had to tell me that consultant had checked notes but hadn't bothered to actually talk to me.

5 hours of knowing there was something wrong with my liver, but no info, is not good enough.
