I would like to thank all the staff for their excellent care and compassion when looking after my mother last week. I was very impressed with how clean the ward was, the fact that the ward domestic challenged me when I did not use the hand gel, and how caring all the staff were despite having patients that needed lots of care and attention.

I was pleased to read that your mother had received excellent care whilst with us and that the staff had carried out their duties with compassion, providing an excellent patient experience.

It was positive prompting and vigilance from the domestic staff member to remind you to use the hand gel which helps promote the clean hands initiative and reduce infection.
