When you are appointer manager within an established care home you tend to inherit issues. This happened to me and some of the problems were very serious and impacted upon residents health and wellbeing.
I do not want to discuss what the issues were as I am sure that the residents and relatives affected will know what I am referring to.
I cannot turn back the clock but I wish to offer my sincerest apologies for the distress and anxiety that was caused and to reassure you that practices have and will continue to change and evolve for the better.
