Recently I was seen by a Urology consultant who arranged for an investigation and follow up. Unfortunately the follow up appointment was postponed 6 months by the L&D. I contacted the consultants secretary explaining why this delay was unacceptable. She promised to try to move the appointment forward. She did this, giving me a 1 day notice of the appointment. The consultant arranged a further test. My hope is that he will now commence treatment which will really sort the problem very soon. After 2 weeks the results of the test are awaited. There is clear evidence of joined up working together to find a solution however.
