I was a panicking parent making the a phone call in the early hours to 111 about my child who was screaming in agony with a neck injury after a fall and only recently involved in a serious RTA in Turkey. I was supported and given access to excellent ambulance staff who transported my daughter to Blackburn queens park. On arrival we were quickly processed and my daughter was completely taken care of by all members of the team, who worked in a very child friendly and professional way, all aspects were thorough and explained to my child in a way she could understand. A massive thank you to all of you from a very worried parent who saw professionalism and compassion at the highest level. A special thank you to the ward sister who took the time to make a real connection with a very scared child, she is doing all the moves advised as a dance just like you showed even though there is still a lot of pain.
