"My nan was treated for kidney ..."

About: Watford General Hospital

(as a relative),

What could be improved

My nan was treated for kidney cancer in Watford, the operation went well and was on the road to recovery. However she was struck down but a infection from there her health declined. She was moved into a private room and just seemed to have been forgotten about, I went to visit her at dinner time and everyone else had been fed apart from her because 'they didn't think there was anyone in the room'. When I asked where her food was staff were very rude, the hospital wasn't particularly clean either, my nan sadly died from her infection. So I think its the staffs attitude that needs reviewing and the cleanliness of the wards.
