"I went into the a&e department ..."

What I liked

I went into the a&e department for the treatment of my cheast infection with a temp of 38.5. We were'nt told of our lenght of wait. After 3 and half hours were sitting in a very cold department WITH NO HEATING.I had to leave and go to another hospital. I did complain but was told they could'nt do anything about the heat. Then I told it was gone midnight and they were down to 2 doctors and my wait would possible be another 3 hours after been there 3 already.I felt that if i stayed i possible would got worst as i was freezing other people young and old were also feeling the same.The triage system was was'nt at all in use properly less serious cases were going in before others. My confidence in the triage nurse was very poor very rushed and felt not been listened to.

What could be improved

Look at triage and the simple thing of heating your department.
