"85 year old lady goes missing!"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

Anything else?

My 85 year old aunt was admitted to Leicester Royal on Tuesday 18th June with a suspected broken leg. After failing to detect the breakage and finally xraying the correct part of her leg she has a broken femur. It is now Sunday and we are still waiting for her operation. She has been moved three times and today we called to see how she was and the ward had no trace of her. How can an 85 year old just go missing and how can the ward where she was not know where she has been moved to? 5 phone calls later and we have located her in yet another ward. Disgraceful is an understatement.
