Today, over 85% of our patients wait a maximum of 18 weeks between being referred by their GP and receiving their first definitive treatment; by the end of 2008, this will apply to all patients.

While the maximum wait is 18 weeks, for most it is a great deal less. Which is why anyone with concerns about the quality and speed of their treatment should feel free to contact our patient advice and liaison service (PALS) team on 01707 369045, who will be happy to follow their case up with the relevant clinical team in the hospital
