I attended Kings Mill on 17 June 2013 for an operation on the Day Case Unit. The care I received was second to none, from the moment I arrived until the moment I left the following morning. Staff were very informative, kind and considerate during my stay and following my operation I had visits from both the anaesthetist and consultant, which put me at ease as if I had any concerns I felt happy and comfortable to ask. I wasn't feeling 100% well enough to go home on the evening following my operation but the staff were more than accommodating to let me stay andI felt under no pressure to leave. The night staff - as the day staff - could not do enough for me and I was happy in the knowledge that they were at the end of the call button if I needed them. Prior to my leaving, I was visited by another friendly anaesthetist. I can confidently say that I have never felt so cared for during a hospital stay and I would happily recommend Kings Mill to others in the future - well done!
