I had to go in under anaesthetic for a difficult coil removal and I found the gynae-surgeon, anaesthetist and all the nurses and doctors I met along the way to be wonderful. I was really nervous and had brought my Mum with me, and they put me so at ease I sent her home before I was even due to go down for surgery! The nurses were good humoured, patient and kind and I had much better treatment than other hospitals in the area I have been under (four in total). I was a little dismayed when the nurse told me not to lock the toilet door post op and then wandered off.... because an old lady walked in on me peeing!!! But that is my one and only complaint and hey we're all women, and all down there for the same bits :P I'm thoroughly happy with the treatment I received and would recommend, Thank you princess anne I feel so much better already :)
