"I had an excellent service from 111 on both occasions"

About: Harmoni / NHS 111 Hillingdon Hospital / General surgery

(as a service user),

I had to call the 111 service in the middle of the night. The operator who took my call explained that they would need to go through a series of questions which may not appear relevant to me but were to them to help them with the diagnosis.

I was then referred to the out of hours GP service at the Hillingdon Hospital, where I was seen very quickly by a doctor.

I had an excellent service from 111 on both occasions when I needed to use them.

It is essential that the well trained Health Advisors ask you a series of questions to ensure that all life threatening emergencies are ruled out before suggesting a relevant, local service for you to attend.
