Approached this appointment with some trepitation (things poked into the back passage are never going to be anything but unpleasant) but it couldn't have gone better. Staff were very friendly and the mild sedative they adminstered meant I actually have no recollection of the procedure at all. As far as I was concerned, I just went in and had a brief nap. Consultant = super professional too I have to go back again for a follow up repeat procedure and, after this, I have no anxieties whatsoever about it.
