"Duplicate of information: Is this necessary?"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

Whilst the information you gave was correct, it seemed to be mainly a duplicate of the information given by Oswestry.

Is this really necessary?

Thank you for taking the time to reply to our request for feedback.

When TRAQS book an appointment we are required to print off and post to patients specific documents to confirm appointment details, date, time, hospital address etc. Whilst RJAH contact patients to confirm appointment details in writing this is not the case for all hospitals/providers. Some contact patients by phone or even text message to confirm the appointment.I am sure you appreciate how important it is for patients to have the correct address and specific instructions relating to the location of the clinic. Especially if they chosen to travel further to an unfamiliar hospital for a sooner appointment.

Whilst in your case this information appeared to be duplicated it is part of the booking process within TRAQS and must be followed to ensure patients are kept fully informed at all times.

Thank you again for your response we at TRAQS appreciate all constructive feedback.
