Anything else?

My wife gave birth in Feb 2013 in homerton. The reception was very bad. After calling them when the labour started and being asked to come.to ward we were told we shouldn't be there by,very rude.midwife. It was a mess. After finally being admitted n everythg was ok as long as giving birth is concerned. Our ordeal started after. Rude midwives (we went through 4 or 5 of them within 30 hrs. For 8 hours we couldnt get anyone to come to help with anythg. There was no room for us in the ward so the whole time we spent in the birthing centre. All bloody and dirty equipment n stuff used during labour has been left in the room (birth at 8pm and cleaning didnt happen till they needed the room after9 am next day); next day shift coming.and commenting.on night shift work didnt.help. New midwife was clearly upset and angry with them for.doing nothing (not very nice to overhear it and being.smiled in the face after) No help from any of midwives as they were busy. Was thinking that, maybe we all should stay home to relieve them hehe. After twenty odd hoUrs we demanded to be released as clearly they were useless n we werent wanted in there. I felt guilty about being.there at the times. It took them,8 hrs to discharge us despite them being.pushy about it "as we do need room for next patient". Overall it was a nightmare I wouldnt.wish my,worst enemy. I always thought midwives were nice and compassionate. Nah. They were not. Rather opposite. Hospital from hell. I hope it will help somehow.
