"I don't know what we'd do without them"

About: Bassetlaw Hospital / Diabetic medicine

(as a carer),

Our matron visits us every four weeks, more if needed.

I don't know what we would do without her. She got my husband to see a consultant who he sees every three to four months and has just had him at Bassetlaw Hospital, they were brilliant. Today the Matron has been she got the Dr to come and see my husband and he Is now waiting fo a appointment to see another consultant.

We have the Tele Health buddy and think that is a marvelous thing to have, they are always checking up on my husband, and If they think he Is not well they phone the matron like Monday and out the Matron came straight away.

I really don't know what we would do without this service it is a lifeline for both the patient and the carer, thank you so much.
